Take a non animated object and animate it!
Download this zip file
that has the kitten hug psp file.
Open it in psp. Duplicate the layer.
X out the bottom layer.
Click on the lasso icon, freehand, feather 0, Antialias checked.
lasso the arm area. Click on the arm to float it. (As shown)
Add a layer, drag the layer under the floating
selection.
Selection/ select none
Click on the copy of the layer and lasso the
other arm.
Select and add it to it's own layer. Select/ select none
Select the move tool and move the arms in a bit.
