Tutorial 7

This may seem difficult, but just take
small steps and you will be fine!
Because once you do it...it's easy!

Download the zip file with the feather and the font.
(The font enclosed might be slightly different...I forgot the one I used.)
Open a large image 400x400, you will resize later.
Enter your name. If vector, convert to Raster.
Add the feather on a separate layer
and click on the move tool.
Practice with the move tool how the feather
would move if you were writing with it.

Position the feather where you would start to write your name.

Hold the Shift Down and click D
to duplicate the entire image.

Erase ALL the text on the text layer. Only the feather remains.
This will be the first image of the gif.
Layers/merge visible. Minimize the image.

CTRL D to duplicate the whole original image,
with the entire name intact and the feather on the separate layer.
Now move the feather to the point where
when writing, you would pause or turn.
In my case, I start the J and pause at the top if the letter.
Erase the rest of the name to where you pause.
Layers/merge visible. Minimize the image.

CTRL D to duplicate the whole image as above,
Move the feather to the next point.
Erase the rest of the text.
Layers/merge visible. Minimize the image.

Continue with the first letter.
Duplicate the whole image each time to erase.
Moving the feather as if you were writing.
Merge each finished layer and minimize it.
